Good Deeds Service Club
Giving Back to our Community
In August 2021, Matson Retirement Planning chartered the Good Deeds Service Club to offer clients an opportunity to serve others. Good Deeds is an Arbor program sponsored by Gleaner Life Insurance Society in which members can plan community events, make donations of funds or supplies, and give time to worthy community causes and non-profits. It's community service without the pressure of fundraising! Gleaner will reimburse the club up to $1000 for an "Impact Event" planned by the club members. A fraternal non-profit with roots in Christian faith, Gleaner's mission to give back is a great match with our agency values.
Good Deeds generally meets the 3rd Wednesday monthly at 12pm at our office. Meetings are used to discuss upcoming impact events, planning, review of completed impact events and to solicit ideas from members on future service or project ideas. Updates are often posted on our Facebook page, too. For more information on Good Deeds, call our office at (740) 454-7646. We are always looking for more members to join us in service.
Neither Gleaner nor Matson Retirement Planning are affiliated with cfd Investments nor each other.
